Measures we take to protect your freight

At the GTI Group, we treat your freight as if it was our own. What do we mean?

With safety as our number one, non-negotiable core value, the safety and security of your freight, our professional drivers and the traveling public are always top-of-mind. In no particular order, here are 10 security measures we take for every load:

  1. All team members – professional drivers, dispatchers, warehouse personnel and office staff – are trained to be discrete with load information – what cargo is, its value, its origin and destination, routes
  2. Third-party carriers and professional drivers maintain regular contact with dispatchers
  3. Professional drivers with experience and ongoing, in-person and biweekly, virtual training
    1. Drivers are trained to, “If you see something, say something”
    2. Drivers are trained to stay aware of their surroundings while driving and while stopped
    3. Drivers are trained to be wary of questions about their loads and routes
  4. Inward and outward cameras on all trucks, company and owner-operated
  5. Real-time GPS tracking on all trucks and trailers
  6. Pre- and post-trip planning includes understanding of where pickup and drop-off locations are, so drivers aren’t lost in unsafe territories
  7. Enroute loads are parked in secure, well-lit locations
  8. 24-hour security camera monitoring surveillance, key fob access, fenced yards and other measures on all warehouses
  9. All van loads locked
  10. Loads are not shown on social media until transport is complete, and certain details about loads are deliberately not published on social media

We carry cargo insurance. Please view our Terms and Conditions for details about our insurance options or ask to speak with one of our team members.
