For the 11th year in a row, Jetco was honored to make national and regional runs for Wreaths Across America.
Jetco professional driver Gilbert left Houston last Tuesday, making the journey to Maine to pick up the wreaths and deliver them to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., this past weekend. For the third consecutive year, we left and delivered earlier than the traditional Wreaths Across America route. We once again received a special invitation to participate in the private ceremony for Gold Star families, who are immediate family members of a fallen service member who died while serving in a time of conflict.
Meanwhile, another Jetco professional driver made the Texas regional run for Wreaths Across America. He picked up wreaths in St. Louis, MO, and delivered to locally to Woodlawn Funeral Home Cemetery in Houston, Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Wheeler, TX, Sweeny Cemetery in Sweeny, TX, and Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, TX. Wreaths delivered to Cedarvale Cemetery were shared to seven other local cemeteries.
Thank you to Wreaths Across America for inviting us to participate in this impactful program year after year. From our driver managers to our professional drivers, we're honored and humbled to make these runs.
