About the Greater Houston Freight Subcommittee
In order to establish an ongoing conversation between the elected officials who allocate transportation improvement funds and the private sector entities that use the transportation system, H-GAC set up a unique collaborative forum called the Greater Houston Freight Committee. Its goal is to ensure full incorporation of freight into the transportation planning process and to discuss freight transportation priorities, needs and solutions.
